Deactivate an asset—Fixed Assets Management
Deactivating an asset removes it from lists and dropdowns across your company while still retaining its record. You can deactivate or reactivate an asset at any time. When an asset is deactivated, you cannot transfer, place in service, place back in review, depreciate, revert depreciation, or dispose of it.
If you no longer need to keep a record of the asset, you can delete the asset to remove it permanently from Sage Intacct.
