Delete a depreciation rule on an asset classification—Fixed Assets Management

Deleting a depreciation rule on an asset classification does not remove the rule from existing assets. To remove rules from assets, see delete a depreciation rule on an asset.

1. Go to Fixed Assets Management > All > Asset classifications.
2. Find the classification containing the rule that you want to delete.
3. In the Depreciation rules section, find the rule that you want to delete.
4. Select Remove at the end of the row.
5. Select Save.

Your changes do not affect assets that already use this classification. All future classification assignments will use the new information.
