Delete a loan account category

You can delete a loan account category as long as it is not assigned to any loan accounts.

Deleting a loan account category is permanent. An alternative is to deactivate the loan account category, which keeps the loan account category but prevents it from being used in new loans. Learn about deactivating a loan account category.

1. Go to Lending Management > Setup > Loan account categories.
2. Find the loan account category that you want to delete.
3. Select More actions > Delete at the end of the row.
4. In the delete confirmation message, select Delete. If you decide not to delete the loan account category, select Cancel.
