Subscriptions—Consoles

Intacct includes the following applications in consoles: My practice or Console, My instances, Tax export, and My accounting.

If you are using the Accountant console
While you may subscribe to My accounting to perform accounting for your own firm, it is not an Intacct best practice. Instead, Intacct recommends that you add your own practice as an instance. You will then be able to slide in from the console to perform accounting functions for your own practice.

Subscribe to an application

  1. Go to My practice or Console > More > Subscriptions.
  2. Under Applications available for subscription, select the application you want to add to your company. The system displays a description of the application.
  3. Select Subscribe. The system loads the configuration page for the application you subscribed to.
  4. Enter the required information for configuring the page, and select or enable options, then select Save.

You are now subscribed to the application, which appears on your applications menu bar the next time you log in.

Cancel a subscription

  1. Go to My practice or Console > More > Subscriptions.
  2. Under Subscribed applications, select the appropriate application icon. The system displays a description of the application.
  3. Select Cancel subscription.
  4. Select Yes to confirm that you want to cancel The system removes the icon from the Subscribed applications list and adds it to the Applications available for subscription.
