Export instance tax data—Consoles
From the Instance data tax export page, you can do the following:

Select the supplier of the tax software package that you want to use.
The tax software package determines the format of your data export.

Select the year of the data that you want to export.
Use the Start date and End date fields to define a short year. This is useful for new spin-off companies or for companies that cease to exist due to a merger or acquisition.

Export the instance's tax data to a file that you can save and share.

On the application menu, select Tax export.

Find the company with data that you want to export and choose Select.

Review the information that populates on this page, then make any changes.
Company IDPopulates the ID of the company that you selected on the Instance data tax export list.
You cannot change this field.
EntityThis field displays if you’re filing tax data for an entity.
Select an entity.
Tax SoftwareSelect the supplier of the tax software package that you use:
- CCH ProSystem fx
- Lacerte Tax
- Thomson Reuters GoSystem Tax
- Other System (for all others, and for non-U.S. tax returns)
If you prepare a non-U.S. tax return, you must export your instance's tax data to Other System. CCH, Lacerte, and Thomson Reuters support U.S. tax returns only.For CCH ProSystem fx, Intacct exports the following columns of data into this software:- Account number
- Account name or description

Prior year-end balance
If you export income statement accounts, there is no prior year-end balance. - Current year-end balance
- Tax code
Confirm that all accounts have tax codes when you import this data. When accounts have tax codes, accounts map to tax forms, such as Forms 1120 and 1065.
For Lacerte Tax, Intacct exports the following columns of data into this software:- Account number
- Account name
- Account description
- Type
- Current year-end balance
There are 4 types in the Lacerte Tax system. Each type applies differently:

For Thomson Reuters GoSystem Tax, Intacct exports the following columns of data into this software:- Tax return code
Confirm that all accounts have tax codes when you import this data. When accounts have tax codes, accounts map to tax forms, such as Forms 1120 and 1065. - Account number
- Account name
- Prior year-end balance
- Current year-end balance
- M-3 return code
Confirm that you enter tax return codes for all accounts to ensure that the full balance records on the Thomson Reuters GoSystem tax forms.For Other Systems, Intacct exports the following columns of data into this software:- Account number
- Account name
- Current year-end balance
- Tax return code (Optionally, displays data when enabled)
- M-3 return code (Optionally, displays data when enabled)
Include Accounts with Zero BalanceSelect this checkbox to include all accounts and accounts with a zero balance in the tax data export.
Clear this checkbox to include only accounts with a balance in the tax data export.
Year endingThe date in this dropdown is based on the tax year. When the instance was created in the console, the tax year was selected.
Start date and End dateDisplays the start and end dates of the tax year that you selected in the Year ending field.
If you file a return for a short tax year due to a spin-off, merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or other defining event, change the start and end dates.
When you change the default Start date and End date, the year-end date does not change.Email Tax Export Report toEnter your email address if you want to be emailed when this export completes.
You can enter a different email address for someone else to be notified instead.
Export File NamePopulates the export file name.
If you change the export file name, do not change the file extension (.csv). Your export fails if you change the file extension.Export NotesOptionally, use to assist with your record-keeping.

Select Export.
Intacct creates a discrete spreadsheet document and prompts you to save the document to a local drive.
If there's an error with the export, or if you want to stop the export process, select Cancel.
