Customization and Platform Services

Customization Services gives you tools to extend Intacct data and objects. You can add fields and create and run custom reports on your data. In addition, you can send automated emails or create rules and warnings that guide users along your unique business processes.

In contrast, Platform Services gives you tools for building solutions that can access and work with custom data as well as standard Intacct application data. The Platform allows you to create custom data objects and then create forms, pages, and actions that access those objects.
