To examine the way your accounts are mapped into groups, display the Account Group hierarchy report. The Account Group hierarchy report shows you the hierarchical structure (that is, which accounts are members of which groups and which groups are members of other groups), whereas the chart of accounts is a flat listing of all accounts. The Account Group hierarchy report enables you to verify how you have organized your accounts.
If you selected a template on which to base your company in the template tab of the Setup Wizard, your company was created with a standard chart of accounts.
