Enter time manually—Sage Intelligent Time
The most basic way to enter time in SIT is to create a new row manually in your timesheet and assign time and dimension information to the time.

Go to Time > All > Timesheets > My timesheets or Staff timesheets.
- Open an existing timesheet or create a new one.
- In the Time Entries section of the timesheet, do one of the following:
- Select Add row to enter time.
A blank row is added to your timesheet. - Hover over the down arrow next to Add Row and select Add negative hours to add negative time to your timesheet.
A blank row is added to the Negative Hours section of your timesheet.
- Select Add row to enter time.

Enter required dimensions for the time.
This can include Project, Task, Department, or Location dimensions.
If dimension values are selected on the employee record, those values populate automatically on the timesheet. For more information, go to Set default values to appear on timesheets. -
Select a Time type, if applicable.
- Select the Billable checkbox, if applicable.

Under the appropriate day of the week, enter a number in the time entry box.
Use the arrows to scroll to different days of the week and enter more time. If you have not entered the required dimension values, you will not be able to enter time in the time entry box.The total hours worked each day is shown at the bottom of the page. This calculation includes both positive and negative time. -
To the right of a time entry cell, select the Notes icon (
) to add a description, notes, or assign additional dimensions.The note icon appears only after you enter time in a cell.

When you are done entering time, leave the page to save your timesheet as a draft, or select Submit timesheet to start the approvals process.
Timesheets are automatically saved as drafts.
