Permission changes

Below is a list of changes to permissions made during 2023 Release 3.

You can find more information about the permissions needed for a feature in each release note under the Requirements section.

Updated

The following permissions changed in functionality.

Cash Management

  • Bank transactions for API and import: Add, List, View, Delete
    We renamed the permission to better reflect the functionality.
    Previously, the permission was labeled as Bank transactions for integrations.

Added

Also, we've added permissions to support new features released. All new permissions are automatically off by default, unless otherwise noted.

Accounts Payable

  • Approve suppliers: List
    Allows a user to approve or decline suppliers.

Purchasing

  • Compliance setup: List, View, Add, Edit, Delete
    If you have the Construction subscription, you can manage compliance setup for Purchasing.

  • Compliance records: List, View, Add, Edit, Delete
    If you have the Construction subscription, you can manage compliance records for Purchasing

The Compliance permissions aren't visible unless you are subscribed to Construction.

Time & Expenses

  • Bank file generator: Run

  • Bank files: List, View, Manage, Export, Confirm, Delete

    You can use bank files in Time & Expenses to pay employee expense reimbursements.
