New in Interactive Custom Report Writer and Interactive Visual Explorer

Now available in Interactive Custom Report Writer (ICRW) and Interactive Visual Explorer:

  • Apply XML: Allows you to modify ICRW custom SQL reports and retain all the formatting.

  • New reporting areas in ICRW and IVE: Provide enhanced capabilities for tracking and managing Construction projects and Accounts Receivable (AR) invoices.

Modify custom SQL reports with Apply XML

You can now modify Interactive Custom Report Writer (ICRW) custom SQL reports with Apply XML and retain all the formatting.

ICRW automatically generates XML when you create a report. The XML has everything that you need to modify the report and retain formatting, such as column order, visual appearance, prompts, and comments. Apply XML is available on the ICRW Custom tab.

How it works

You can modify a custom SQL report in the following ways using Apply XML:

  • Add a column.

  • Modify text.

  • Rename a column.

  • Reorder views

  • Delete a column.

New reporting areas for ICRW and IVE

New reporting areas for AR details and Construction projects provide enhanced capabilities for your ICRW reports and IVE visual boards. The following new reporting areas include specialized data options that you can add.

Accounts Receivable

AR pymt detail: This reporting area enables you to effectively track and record payments and cash receipts against AR invoices. Additional details are also captured, such as credits that might have been applied to an invoice.

Construction

Project summary billing detail: This reporting area enables you to create ICRW reports and IVE visual boards based on summarized expenses for project contract lines. The summarized expenses use the Time and Materials (T&M) summary billing feature.

T&M billing rate tables for project contracts: This reporting area allows you to effectively analyze the rate tables for each type of billable expense. The rate tables are used when billing project contract lines are configured for T&M billing.

Vendor compliance: This reporting area enables you to create ICRW reports and IVE visual boards based on vendor compliance records, allowing you to efficiently manage compliance in Purchasing and Accounts Payable.
