Configure bank file remittance information—Accounts Payable
Configure Accounts Payable to create remittance communications for bank file payments.

Before you begin
Create an email template using the Template type AP remittance. Select this template on the Configure Accounts Payable page.
Copy and paste the below information into the Message field on the Email template page.
Use the following format for the email message or adjust the message as needed.
Hi {!APPYMT.VENDORNAME!},
A payment of {!APPYMT.CURRENCY!} <b>{!APPYMT.TRX_TOTALPAID!}</b> was issued to you by {!APPYMT.PAYMENTMETHOD!} on {!APPYMT.WHENCREATED!}.
Payment date: <b>{!APPYMT.WHENCREATED!}</b>
Payment method: <b>{!APPYMT.PAYMENTMETHOD!}</b>

Configure remittance information
To use an entity-specific logo on bank file remittance information, perform these actions at the entity-level.

Go to Accounts Payable > Setup > Configuration.

Find the Remittance section.

Set the following information about payment notifications:

Choose whether or not to include a PDF of the payment copy in the payment notification email.
The checkbox is cleared by default.

Choose whether or not to Include payment details in payment notification email.
The checkbox is selected by default. Payment details include information such as payment number, date, and amount.

Choose whether or not to Include secondary email contacts in automatic payment notifications.
The checkbox is cleared by default.

Select the AP remittance email template that you created on the Email template page.

Choose whether or not to include a logo on the Bank file remittance.

Select Save.
