About using filters and sorting to view transactions during reconciliation

Learn how to use filters and sorting to find transactions to match for reconciliation.

Do you already know the basics and want to view specific types of transactions?

Filtering

When you first access the account reconciliation page, you immediately see all unmatched transactions. However, you can filter and sort to find just the transactions you need.

Apply a filter

  1. Go to Cash Management > All > Reconciliation > Bank or Credit card.

  2. Enter your banking information, and select Continue.
  3. Select a value from a filter dropdown list, or enter a value in a field.
  4. Optionally, select Show more filters to view more detailed filter options.

Example: Filter for voided transactions

  1. On the account reconciliation page, select Show more filters.
  2. Select the checkbox for Voided.
  3. Select Apply filters.

Remove a filter

To reset the account reconciliation page back to the default view, select Clear filters.

Filter by column head

You can filter within a column head to find specific transactions.

  1. In any column, enter a value in the column head field.
  2. Press Enter on your keyboard.
  3. To remove the applied filter and display the full list of transactions, select Clear filters.

Sorting

Select any column head to sort transactions alphanumerically. A pointer to the right of the column name indicates the sort direction.

When you select All States and All Transaction types and want to sort, unmatched transactions are listed first, then matched transactions. Transaction types appear in alphabetical order.

Pagination

If you have a large number of transactions, they appear on individual pages rather than a long list that you need to scroll through. To adjust how many transactions you see per page, On the More actionsdropdown list select Table size and then select the number of rows you want to view per page.

If you select a transaction and then go to another page, your original selection remains. In other words, your selection is "sticky" and stays selected even if you navigate away to another page of transactions.
