How the on-schedule status is determined
Whether a checklist is on schedule is determined by whether its individual tasks are on schedule. Only the status of the main task is considered. The status of the task assignments are not taken into account.
The following table shows how schedule adherence is determined for tasks. The determination is based on the current date and the task due date.

|
One task is at risk and the others are completed. |
At risk |
A single at-risk task affects the overall checklist status. |
|
One task is overdue, and the others are completed. |
At risk |
Even one overdue task causes the checklist to be at risk. |
How the state is determined
The state of the individual tasks included in the checklist determines the state of the checklist. The state of task assignments determines the state of the associated task.
The following table describes how task states and user actions affect the checklist state.
