Edit a depository account

- Go to Depository Management > All > Depository accounts.
- Find the depository account that you want to edit.
- Select Edit at the end of the row.
- Change the depository account. You can change only the following fields and controls.
- In the Depository information section:
- Account name: The account name must be unique.
- Customer: You can change the customer only if there are no transactions posted for the account.
- Vendor: You can change the vendor only if there are no transactions posted for the account.
- Email statements: You can change whether you allow statements for the depository account to be emailed from the Statements page.
- Attachment: You can add or change supporting documents for the depository account.
- Description: You can add or change the description of the depository account.
- In the Terms section:
You can change all fields.
- In the Dimensions section:
You can change all fields.
When you edit dimensions for a depository account, the changes affect new transactions created afterwards, but do not affect historical transactions. You can reclassify historical transactions to make their dimensions consistent with new transactions. Learn about reclassifying transactions.
- In the Depository information section:
- Select Post.
