Install the Fixed Assets Management reports package
We offer a reports package, which you can use as a starting point for creating your own custom reports. After installing the package, you can duplicate these sample reports and add them to the Fixed Assets Management application menu.
The Fixed Assets Management reports package contains the following reports:

Assets by Employee
-
Assets by Location
-
Depreciation Forecast
-
Depreciation Roll Forward
-
Net Book Value
Before you begin
Verify the Employee dimension is enabled in General Ledger configuration.
Step 1. Install the reports package
You can access the reports package through Customization Services or Platform Services, depending on how your company was implemented.

- Depending on your subscriptions, do one of the following:
- Go to Customization Services > All > Customization tools > Customization packages.
- Go to Platform Services > All > Customization tools > Custom packages.

Above the table, select Package library.
Don't see this option?If you do not see the Package library option, verify that your company uses a QuickStart template by going to Company > Setup > Company > Accounting tab. Learn more about QuickStart templates.
- Find Fixed Assets Management Reports in the list.
- Select Install.
You can now access the sample fixed assets reports from the Custom Reports list in the Reports, Customization Services, or Platform Services applications.
Step 2. Duplicate, customize, and add the reports to the application menu
You cannot modify the sample reports directly. However, you can duplicate them and then customize the copies to suit your business needs. You can also add them to the Fixed Assets Management application menu.

- Depending on your subscriptions, do one of the following:
- Go to Customization Services > All > Custom reports.
- Go to Platform Services > All > Custom reports.
- Go to Reports > All > Advanced > Custom reports.
- Enter "FAM_" in the Name field to filter the list for Fixed Assets Management reports.
- Find the report you want to copy and select Duplicate.

Optionally, customize the report to suit your needs.
- On the last step, Save and add to a menu, do the following:
- Enter a unique name for the report.
- Select Add to menu.
- For the Application, select Fixed Assets Management.
- Select Save.
- Refresh the page.
You can now access your report by going to Fixed Assets Management > All > Reports > Custom reports.
