Set or change the journal for asset transfers—Fixed Assets Management

Define a journal to record journal entries for asset transfers. This same journal is also used for the disposal of non-depreciable assets.

You can change the journal at any time. Changing it does not affect assets that are already transferred or disposed. Moving forward, assets that are transferred or disposed will use the new journal.

1. Go to Fixed Assets Management > Setup > Configuration.
2. Select Edit.

3. In the Asset transfer and disposal settings section, select a Journal for transfers and non-depreciable assets.

   Select an active journal. Do not select a statistical journal or a journal that's used for adjustments.

4. Select Save.
