Set or change the Fixed Assets Management journal

Assign a journal to record journal entries related to Fixed Assets Management.

This journal is used to record the following types of journal entries:

  • Asset transfers

  • Non‑depreciable asset disposals

  • CIP asset capitalizations

You can change this journal at any time. Changing it does not affect assets that have already been transferred, disposed, or capitalized. New journal entries use the updated journal.

  • Application subscriptions: Configure
  1. Go to Fixed Assets Management > Setup > Configuration.
  2. Select Edit.

  3. In the Journals and accounts section, select a Fixed Assets Management journal.

    Select an active journal. Do not select a statistical journal or a journal that's used for adjustments.

  4. Select Save.
