Journal Entries list
This list supports the enhanced lists interface. Learn more about using enhanced lists.
The Journal Entries list is the central place to go to work with existing journal entries, or add new ones. From the Journal Entries list on the General Ledger menu, you can:
- View your list of journals.
- Drill down to view transactions for a particular journal.
- Create a new journal entry.
- Import journal entries using a .csv file.
- Recall an unapproved journal entry.
- Take other actions related to journal entries, such as posting a memorized transaction, and more.
In multi-entity shared companies, transaction lists at the entity level include transactions created at the top level that are tagged to your entity. To see transactions created at the top level for your entity, select Include top-level transactions at the top of the list.
You can sort and filter lists to see just the journal entries you want.
To view the Journal Entries page, go to General Ledger > All > Journal entries.

Import journal entries
When you have many journal entries, or journal entries with many line items, you can import journal entries into Intacct with a CSV file.
Importing journal entries can be useful when you regularly have a large number of them to process, such as at the end of the month.
To learn more, see CSV import: General Ledger journal entries.
