When a restriction release is generated, Intacct creates the Restriction Release Journal entry. The entry is generated offline and an email is sent when the entry is complete.

To view the journal entry, select the link from the log or go to the Journal entries list.

This journal entry is similar to other journal entries. It includes the information in the following table.

Field Description
Transaction number The system-generated transaction number.
Books The reporting books that were used.
Journal The journal into which the post was made.
Posting date Date that the entry was posted.
Description The description you entered, used as a link to the snapshot.
Reference number Any reference number used.
Attachment If an attachment was included in the entry, the name appears here.
Last modified date and time Date and time the release was run or modified.
Posted Number of items posted. This link enables you to go to a snapshot of the release.
