User definitions and common terms

Administrator

Administrators (also known as Admins) in Sage Intacct are responsible for managing users, subscriptions, and other company information. They have the highest level of system access and are your go-to person for resetting passwords or unlocking user IDs.

Registered Community User

Registered Community Users use Sage Intacct Community to search knowledgebase articles for self-serve support.

Active Sage Intacct User

Active Sage Intacct Users are licensed users of Sage Intacct.

Sage Intacct Account Manager

Your Sage Intacct Account Manager is your primary point of contact at Sage and who to contact for any DSU changes. When signed into Community, your account manager or VAR representative contact details can be seen in the top-left profile section.
