Change or remove a transaction match for an automated transaction
As long as an automated transaction is in draft state, you can change or remove the source document that it is converted from. This is useful when Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) cannot find a match or selects the wrong one.

Automate transactions with document matching enabled. Transaction definitions mapped for the top level and any entities where documents are emailed or uploaded. |
- Go to Purchasing > All > Automated transactions.
- Select Edit next to the transaction that you want to change.
- If the supplier was not correctly matched for this transaction, select new Supplier.
- Select Change below the Converted from field.
The Select Purchasing transaction popup opens, listing all transactions for this supplier that are available for matching. For long lists, filter the results by entering a value at the top of a column.
- Select the source transaction to use as the new match.
Intacct brings line items from the source transaction into the draft transaction. Subtotals that were defined in the target transaction definition are also brought into the draft.
If you changed the transaction definition prior to changing the transaction match, note that the lines copied in from the source transaction are not linked to the source. They are not converted. - Compare the line items and subtotals in the attachment to the updated transaction and update the values as needed.
For example, say you are matching a PO purchase invoice to a purchase order for 500 items. The PO purchase invoice shows a partial delivery of 200 items. Update the quantity to 200 before saving the draft or posting.
- Verify the remaining transaction details.
- Select Draft or Post to save your changes.
