About Software Digital Board Book SaaS metrics—Contracts
The following tables describe the SaaS metrics used for the default performance cards and graph components in the Software Digital Board Book dashboard. The descriptions use the account, account group, or account group category names used to calculate the corresponding metric. You can view the account groups to find out more detailed information about how metrics are calculated.
Performance cards

| Customer churn | Customer loss / Customer count beginning period |
| Revenue churn | MRR Churn Rate = CMRR churn / CMRR beginning of period |
| Customer renewal | (Customer count beginning of period - Customer churn) / Customer count beginning of period |
| Revenue renewal | CMRR renewed / CMRR beginning of period |
| CAC | Sales & marketing expenses / New customers |
| Payback in months | Sales & marketing expenses / New CMRR |
| New customers | New customers (increases to the Customer statistical account) |
| Avg new CMRR / customer | New CMRR / New customers |
