Set up vendor reconciliation
Before Sage Intacct can begin matching transactions for the Vendor reconciliation report, you need to define a matching sequence and enable the report.
Transaction matching applies only to transactions that you create after you complete the setup process.

Go to Company > Setup > Settings and select Add (circle) next to Document sequences.

Enter the required fields, and any other information that you want to include in your sequence.
The required fields are:

Sequence ID
Cannot be changed after save.

Sequence name

Sequence status

Sequence type
Select Alpha.

Primary sequence
Enter a.
This is the initial value that Sage Intacct will use for the matching code. The second sequence is b, the third c, and so on. After the sequence increments to z, the next sequence will be aa.

Automatically generated, but can be edited.

Go to Accounts Payable > Setup > Configuration.

In the Document Sequencing section, select Enable vendor reconciliation.

For AP match sequence, select the alpha document sequence you created in a previous step.
Only alpha document sequences display in the list of selectable options. If you do not see the sequence you created, check the sequence again to confirm that the Sequence type is set to alpha.

Assign Accounts Payable Vendor reconciliation: Run permissions to users who need to run the reconciliation report.
Follow the procedure that matches your configuration: either assign permissions to a role or assign permissions to specific users.
