View the Vendors list
This list supports the enhanced lists interface. Learn more about using enhanced lists.
View a list of vendors in your company. You can sort and filter the list to see just the vendors you want. From the Vendor list page, you can add new vendors, edit or view an existing vendor, and import and export vendor information.
Set up a shared vendor list at the top level and then specify which entity or entities can view each vendor using restrictions.
By setting up vendors at the top level, you can:
- Use visibility restrictions to control which entities can view each vendor.
- Specify different vendor account numbers for each entity.

Go to Accounts Payable > All > Vendors.
By default, the Vendors list uses icons and indentation to show how parent and child vendors are related. This hierarchical view is helpful when you have vendors that are related, such as when you’re doing business with subsidiaries or divisions of the same company and need to separately track their contact and payment information.
-
To filter for a specific vendor, enter the first part of the vendor name in the text field at the top of the Vendor name column and press Enter.
If you have vendor ID, you can use that to filter the Vendor ID column, instead.

Don't see Include private on your page? The most common reason that you do not see this feature is that you're using a custom view.
When you select a custom view, some options are hidden. Depending on the page you're on, the Include inactive, Include one-time use, Include private, and Display hierarchy options are not visible. For example, if you're viewing from a custom view, the Financial Reports list will not provide the Include inactive option.
To see the options again, switch back to View All. See Custom views for more information.
