About AR account labels
Use AR account labels to give your accounts more descriptive names that are displayed anywhere the accounts are referenced in the product and in reports. Some examples of account labels would be "Sales revenue" and "Sales discounts."
You can also use account labels to do the following:
- Create subtotal lines in invoices.
- Indicate when something is a Subtotal tax line.
- Categorize different products, expense, and services.
To create an account label, go to Accounts Receivable > Setup, and select the + sign beside Account labels.
Accounts receivable account labels are a master object. Master objects can either be accessible to all entities, or exclusive to a specific entity.
Enable account labels
Account labels is an optional feature that must be turned on in Accounts Receivable. In your Accounts Receivable configuration, select the option to Enable account labels.
