Customer health insights

Customer health insights lets you capture and surface key signals about a customer’s overall engagement and risk directly on the Customer record.

The customer health fields provide a standard way to store health data from your CRM, internal processes, or external systems. By bringing this information into Sage Intacct, finance teams can quickly understand account status, identify potential churn risk, and coordinate next steps with other teams.

You can use customer health fields across list views, custom reports, imports, and APIs. The fields are designed as flexible building blocks that your integrations and workflows can populate and update based on your own scoring models and criteria.

Example

Your company sets up an API integration that updates the customer health fields weekly using data from your CRM. A finance manager opens a Customer record and sees a health score of 62 with a status of At risk. Based on this information, they can follow up internally or coordinate with customer‑facing teams before the next renewal.

Health fields

The following fields are available in the Additional information section of customer records.

  • Health score: A numeric value from 0–100 that represents the customer's engagement and risk level.

  • Health status: A high‑level indicator of the customer’s overall health, based on the health score or data from your CRM. Values are Healthy, At risk, or Escalated.

  • At risk for churn: A flag that indicates whether the customer is at risk of churn, based on your internal criteria. Values are true or false.

Integrate customer health data

You can populate and maintain customer health fields through CSV imports or API integrations. Use CSV imports to update values in bulk, or use APIs to keep health data in sync automatically with your CRM. You can also edit the fields manually on the customer record.
