Configure deferred adjustments template for PCA
After you enable deferred adjustments in Accounts Payable, you can set up a Deferred adjustments template.
The Deferred adjustments template lets you define a payment schedule period for monthly, quarterly, or annual payment adjustments. You can apply this template to a line item on a bill to generate an adjustment schedule for that item.

These permissions are for configuration, template creation, and reports. If the feature is enabled, anyone who can create Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions can see the deferred adjustments fields and schedules. |
| Configuration |
To access Deferred adjustment features, you must have France as the operating country for the Company or Entity you're using. |
-
Go to Accounts Receivable > Setup > Deferred adjustments template.
-
Enter a Template ID and select a Deferred adjustment journal. This defaults to the journal you selected during configuration, but you can change to another journal. The journal must be a General Ledger journal.
-
Select an Account. This is used as the intermediary account for the schedule postings to the General Ledger. You cannot use inactive accounts, statistical accounts, or accounts linked to a bank account.
-
Select a Schedule period. You can select monthly, quarterly, or annually.
-
Set the template Status as Active or Inactive.
-
Select Save.
After you save the template, you can only edit the Description and the Status. You can delete the template if it is not linked to any transactions.
