Smart event jobs

You can view all Smart events queued to run in your company on the Smart Events Job page. Each job in the list includes one or more Smart events that were triggered by the same event, and you can drill down to view detailed information about each job. You can also see a history of finished jobs to determine if an important job has been completed or if there were complications.

Synchronous Smart events are not listed on the Smart Events Job page.

View the Smart Events Job page to see all Smart events currently running or waiting to be run in your company. Go to Company > Admin > Offline jobs > Smart event jobs.

View jobs

This list supports the enhanced lists interface. Learn more about using enhanced lists.

If you have the Smart event jobs list permission in the Company application, you can view the Smart event jobs (Company > Admin > Offline jobs > Smart event jobs).

The Smart Event Jobs page contains information about the event that triggered the job and the time the job was queued. See the field descriptions to learn more about the different columns.

View job history

You can view a history of Smart event jobs that have run in your company to confirm jobs have been completed.

  1. Go to Company > Admin > Offline jobs > Smart event jobs.
  2. At the top of the page, select the Smart event job history button. The Smart Event Job History page displays. See the field descriptions for the Smart event job history to learn more about the different columns.

View job details

You can look at the details for a pending or completed job in the Smart Event Job Information page. This is particularly useful in cases where multiple Smart events are the result of the same action on the same object.

  1. From the Smart event jobs or Smart Event Job History page, locate the job of interest.
  2. Select More actionsView at the end of the row. The Smart Event Job Information page appears. This page provides details such the event that triggered the job, the time the job was queued, the ID and status for each Smart event included in the job, and so forth.
