Configure an ACH bank record

To pay vendors or employees using standard ACH, first set up at least one bank on the ACH bank configurations list. This ACH bank record determines how payments are issued from your bank.

Before you start

Contact your bank to get their ACH payment specifications. They will send you details about how to format your standard ACH payments. This information is often in a document called an ACH specification sheet. When you receive this information from your bank, enter that information on the ACH bank configuration page.

The field names on the ACH bank configuration page reflect ACH terminology, making it easy to map the information on your bank's ACH specification sheet to the bank configuration record.

Configure the bank record

  1. Go to Cash Management > Setup > More and select Add (circle) next to ACH bank configurations.

  2. On the ACH bank configuration page, enter a unique ID for the bank in the ACH bank ID field.
  3. Complete the remaining fields on the page using the specifications given by your bank.

Next steps: Set up a and enable vendors for ACH payments.
