Remove or delete an attachment

If you accidentally added the wrong attachment to a record, or found an old attachment with incorrect information, you can delete the attachment.

To delete an attachment, you first have to remove it from any records or transactions. Then, delete the attachment from the attachments list.

Remove an attachment from records and transactions

 

  1. Go to the list page of a record or transaction you want to edit

  2. Select More actionsEdit at the end of the row.

  3. In the Attachment field, clear the selected attachment.

  1. Go to the edit page of a record or transaction with the attachment.

  2. In the Attachment field, clear the selected attachment.

Delete an attachment from the Attachments list

  1. Go to Company > Setup > Storage > Attachments.
  2. Find the attachment that you want to delete.
  3. Select More actions > Delete at the end of the row.

  4. Select Delete
  1. Go to Company > Setup > Storage > Attachments.
  2. Find the attachment and select the Delete checkbox.
  3. Select Delete.
