About checklists
Most organizations have nonfinancial processes that they need to complete for many things. For example, nonfinancial processes for a General Ledger period close, a yearly close, or activities that comply with regulatory agencies. Tracking these high-level activities often involve sharing a spreadsheet with colleagues that have little to no knowledge of the process.
Let Sage Intacct checklists help you track your progress in an easy way. Checklists allow you to manage processes consistently across your organization, helping to improve the quality of the process outcome.
Sage Intacct offers checklists that you can use to do the following:
-
Assign tasks.
-
Clearly see responsibilities.
-
Understand the progress of your own tasks and your colleagues' tasks.
Create as many checklists as you need with corresponding assignments that can be assigned to any user in Intacct. Categorize your checklists and assignments for efficiency, and give each checklist and assignment a status so that everyone understands the progress.
Include the following in a checklist:
-
Assignments
-
Checklist category
-
Assignment status
-
Checklist status
Checklists come standard with your Company subscription.
Checklists and assignments created at the top level or entity level
If you create a checklist or assignment at the top level or entity level, make sure that users have access to the top level or entity level.
-
Top level. If a checklist or assignment is created at the top level, they only appear at the top level.
Users that have access to the top level can use the checklist or assignment.
-
Entity level. If a checklist or assignment is created at an entity level, they only appear at the entity level.
Users that have access to that specific entity can use the checklist or assignment.
