Create a depository fee type

Depository fee types cover fees and account deductions that are not addressed in other transaction screens. You define how each fee type posts to the general ledger. Depository fee types can be created at the top level or the entity level.

1. Go to Depository Management > Setup and select Add (circle) next to Depository fee types.
   Alternatively, select Create on the Depository Fee Types page (Depository Management > Setup > Depository fee types).
2. In the Name field, enter a unique name for the depository fee type.
3. In the GL account field, enter the general ledger account to which the fees will be posted.
4. In the Item field, you can enter an item to which the fees will be posted.
5. In the Description field, you can enter other information about the depository fee type.
6. Select Save.
