View disposal journal entries—Fixed Assets Management

View the journal entries associated with a disposal, including reversal journal entries if applicable.

You can view disposal journal entries and gain or loss information from a depreciation schedule for depreciable assets or from the Disposals tab for nondepreciable assets.

View disposal journal entries for depreciable assets

1. Go to Fixed Assets Management > All > Assets.

2. Find the asset with the journal entries that you want to view.

3. Select the asset's name to view it.

4. Select the Depreciation schedules tab.

   For fully disposed assets, a Journal entries link is available. This link displays the journal entries associated with the full disposal, including the original disposal journal entry and the reversal journal entry, if applicable.

5. Select a schedule's ID to view it.

6. In the Disposal details section, select Journal entries next to a disposal.

   A list of all journal entries associated with the disposal appears. This can include both the original disposal journal entry and the reversal journal entry, if applicable.

7. Select a transaction number to view additional details.

View disposal journal entries for nondepreciable assets

1. Go to Fixed Assets Management > All > Assets.

2. Find the asset with the journal entries that you want to view.

3. Select the asset's name to view it.

4. Select the Disposals tab.

5. Select Journal entries next to a disposal.

   A list of all journal entries associated with the disposal appears. This can include both the original disposal journal entry and the reversal journal entry, if applicable.

6. Select a transaction number to view additional details.
