Budgets repository

This list supports the enhanced lists interface. Learn more about using enhanced lists.

Use the Budget repository to see a list of the budgets available for use in financial reports. From this page, you can create, edit, or view a budget. You can also import budget data from a spreadsheet or export data from an existing budget.

To view this page, go to Budgets > All > Budgets repository.

In companies with more than one entity, you can use budgets only at the level in which they were created. In other words, if the budget was created at the top level, a subordinate entity cannot use it.

Add or edit a budget

If you have not created a budget, select Create to open the Budget information page. For more information, see Create a budget.

When you edit an existing budget, you can change the description and specify whether it's the default budget. To make these changes, select Edit at the end of the row.

Edit budget details

  1. Go to Budgets > All > Budgets repository.
  2. Find the budget in the list.
  3. Select Budget details.
  4. Find the record that you need to update.
  5. Select Edit.
  6. Make your changes.
  7. Select Save.
You can simplify the budgeting process with Sage Intacct Planning. The bidirectional integration between Planning and Intacct means that you can share data for budgets, including your chart of accounts, dimension data, actuals, and more.
