Recurring Journal Entries: List, View, Add, Edit, Delete |
Delete a recurring journal entry
Deleting a recurring journal entry stops the creation of future instances of the entry. It does not delete journal entry transactions that were previously created.
- Go to General Ledger > All > Journal entries > Recurring.
- Find the recurring journal entry, and select Delete.
Stop a recurring journal entry
You can set an end date to prevent the creation of future journal entries without deleting the recurring journal entry.
- Go to General Ledger > All > Journal entries > Recurring.
- Find the recurring entry.
- Select Edit.
- Go to the Schedules tab.
- In the Ends field, select End date if it's not already selected.
- In the End on field, enter the current date.
- Select Save.
