About Client user type
The Client user type is a limited, non-admin user designed for accounting console instances. Client user permissions are less restrictive than Payment Approver and give transactional access for AP, AR, Order Entry, Cash Management, and Time and Expenses.
This user type is also available for Management consoles that are instances of an Accountant console.
Assign Client user type

Go to Company > Setup > Users, roles, and groups and select Users.

Find the user that you want to assign the Client user type to.

Select Edit at the end of the row.

Select Client for the User type.

Select Save.

Go to Company > Setup > Users, roles, and groups and select Users.

Select Edit.
