Assign user groups to an instance—Consoles

Assign user groups to an instance to allow every user in that group to slide in and access that instance.

1. Go to My practice or Console > select Instances.

2. Find the company and select Edit assignments.

3. In the Select user groups section, select a user group in the Available box.

4. Select the >> arrows to move the user group to the Assigned box.

   Inherited access from user groups section displays a list of users associated with the assigned user group.

5. Select Save.

To remove a user group from the Assigned box, select the group and select << arrows.

Field descriptions

Field	Description
Instance ID	The ID of the instance that you selected from the Edit assignments link.
Instance name	The name of the selected instance.
Select users: Available Assigned	The Available box displays a list of console users that can be assigned to the instance. The Assigned box displays a list of console users that are assigned to the instance.
Select user groups: Available Assigned	The Available box displays a list of console user groups that can be assigned to the instance. The Assigned box displays a list of console user groups that are assigned to the instance.
Inherited access from user groups: User group Users	Displays a list of users from any assigned user group. All users within the assigned user group have access to the instance.
