Sage Collaborate Files

Attach files to your Sage Collaborate posts to share information with teammates and coworkers.

Permissions and access

Collaborate attachments do not have their own permissions. Files always inherit access from the record or transaction they’re attached to. If you don’t have permission to view a specific area of Intacct, you won’t see files attached to records in that area.

Using @mentions notifies other users about a file, but does not change who can access it. File visibility is always determined by record permissions.

Attach a file

You can attach a file to any Collaborate feed.

  1. In an Collaborate feed post, select the paperclip icon.
  2. Select the file that you want to attach.
  3. Add context to your post to explain why you’re sharing the file. You can also use @mentions to notify others.
  4. Select Send.

Delete a file

  1. Go to one of your posts that contains a file.
  2. Select More () > Edit.
  3. Select the trash icon to remove the file.
  4. Edit the post as needed and Save your changes.
