Sage Intacct Advanced CRM Integration

The Sage Intacct Advanced CRM Integration connects Sage Intacct and Salesforce to support an end-to-end sales-to-billing workflow. The integration synchronizes key records to help you share customer data, manage contract billing, and improve visibility across sales and finance.

Supported Advanced CRM Integration workflows

The Advanced CRM Integration synchronizes records and supports workflows between Sage Intacct and Salesforce for the following areas:

  • Contract billing, including modifications and renewals

  • Account and contact synchronization

  • Product and price book synchronization

  • Project and task support for Sage Intacct Project Accounting

Advanced CRM Integration vs. Intacct CRM Integration

The Advanced CRM Integration replaces the original Intacct CRM Integration.

Key differences include:

  • Salesforce Lightning–certified

    • Works in Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience. Supports the Salesforce mobile application.

  • Managed Salesforce package

    A single managed package supports:

    • All Sage Intacct configurations

    • Single- and multi-entity tenants

    • Single- and multi-currency organizations

    The managed package is subject to ongoing Salesforce security reviews.

How record synchronization works

When users create or update supported records in Sage Intacct or Salesforce, the integration synchronizes data between the systems. Intacct manages the synchronization process using Sage Intacct and Salesforce APIs.

Authentication uses secure, certificate-based authentication. The integration also uses Sage Intacct web services APIs to insert or update related records.

Requirements

Before you use the Advanced CRM Integration, make sure you meet the following requirements.

Sage Intacct

  • An active Sage Intacct company

  • Completion of the Sage Intacct implementation course

  • Working knowledge of Sage Intacct functionality

Salesforce

  • An active Salesforce company

  • Intermediate Salesforce experience, including:

    • Custom objects

    • User management

    • Profiles, permission sets, field-level security, and record access

    • Page layouts and record types

    • AppExchange application management

The Advanced CRM Integration works only with Enterprise, Unlimited, and Performance editions of Salesforce.

Legacy Intacct CRM Integration

The original Intacct CRM Integration is being replaced by the Sage Intacct Advanced CRM Integration.

If you currently use the legacy integration, contact your account representative to discuss your options.

Intacct Collaborate

The Advanced CRM Integration does not install Intacct Collaborate automatically. If you plan to use both products, install the Advanced CRM Integration first. Then install Intacct Collaborate.
