Rename and repurpose classes

You may find that Class isn't necessarily what you need for your business. You can rename and repurpose class to suit your needs in your company's terminology. When you rename and repurpose the Class dimension, we recommend you add custom fields to this dimension to support any additional functionality your business needs.

If you use Projects or ever plan to use it, and you want to do financial reporting by Task, you don't want to repurpose Class because it can be linked to Task in Projects. If your company still needs another dimension for a unique purpose, consider our user-defined dimensions.
