Install the Adobe Acrobat Reader

One of the most common issues with viewing and printing reports that were exported to PDF is that a compatible viewer hasn't been installed. We strongly recommend the free Adobe Acrobat Reader as a default PDF viewer.

Install the PDF viewer

Most computers already have this PDF viewer installed. However, if you need to install it, follow these steps.

  1. Open your browser and go to https://get.adobe.com/reader/.
  2. Select the Acrobat Reader and choose Download now.The download page automatically determines the operating system your computer is using.
  3. Verify that download page references the correct operating system for your computer. Then, read the rest of the page.
  4. Select Install now to begin the installation.
  5. Follow the instructions, that will differ based on your operating system.

Next steps

There might be a couple of other actions you need to take:

  • Make sure the browser allows PDFs to appear in a popup.
  • Set your browser to read PDFs using the Adobe Acrobat Reader as the default PDF reader.
