Install the Adobe Acrobat Reader
One of the most common issues with viewing and printing reports that were exported to PDF is that a compatible viewer hasn't been installed. We strongly recommend the free Adobe Acrobat Reader as a default PDF viewer.
Install the PDF viewer
Most computers already have this PDF viewer installed. However, if you need to install it, follow these steps.
- Open your browser and go to https://get.adobe.com/reader/.
- Select the Acrobat Reader and choose Download now.The download page automatically determines the operating system your computer is using.
- Verify that download page references the correct operating system for your computer. Then, read the rest of the page.
- Select Install now to begin the installation.
- Follow the instructions, that will differ based on your operating system.
Next steps
There might be a couple of other actions you need to take:
- Make sure the browser allows PDFs to appear in a popup.
- Set your browser to read PDFs using the Adobe Acrobat Reader as the default PDF reader.
