Email a report

You can email a report immediately after it appears in your browser. Or, you can schedule the report to be emailed at a later time. Either way, you choose the format of the report (for example, HTML, PDF, or CSV), specify (unlimited) recipients including yourself, add a subject, and add a message in the body of the email.

Create an email signature

When you send an email, your email signature is appended to the end of the message in the body of the text. For example: Bill Smith, V.P. Engineering

  1. To access your preferences, select your login name at the top of the page and then select My preferences.
  2. In Email notifications, enter your email signature in the My email signature field.
  3. Optionally, customize the format with font selections and carriage returns.
  4. Select Save.

    Financial reports

    1. Go to Reports > All > Core > Financial Reports.
    2. Select HTML for the report that you want to view.

    Other reports (including standard reports and custom reports)

    1. Go to the report from the relevant application menu.
      • For example, to run the Bills Analysis report, go to Accounts Payable > Bills Analysis.
    2. Select View at the top of the page.
  2. Select Email at the top of the report.
  3. Enter the necessary email information for the report.
    • In the To field, enter the email addresses of the recipients. To include multiple recipients, separate the email addresses with a comma (,) or semicolon (;). To have a copy of the report sent to you also, select the CC me checkbox.
    • Select a format for the report in the Select Report Type dropdown: Printable, HTML, CSV, Excel, or Text.
    • Enter a Subject and Message.
    • Verify that your Signature appears in the desired format.
    • Optionally, edit your email signature.
    • Select OK.

Schedule a report to be emailed

You can schedule a report to be generated and emailed automatically, according to a predefined schedule. When you schedule a report, you can choose 1 or more delivery methods, including email.
