Welcome to Interactive Visual Explorer!—IVE

Interactive Visual Explorer (IVE) enables you to create visualizations of data that provide insights and highlight trends. These insights can answer strategic questions that allow you to more effectively plan and develop your business.

IVE requires a separate subscription. To purchase or enable an IVE subscription, contact your Sage Intacct account manager.

Benefits of IVE

Use the Interactive Visual Explorer to explore data and create visualizations of your data to tell a story. You can experiment with the data by adding or removing columns, creating filters, or apply the data to different visualization types.

Interactive Visual Explorer helps you to explore and understand data from different perspectives to find correlations, discover patterns, and see trends.

You can capture the insights and trends in a narrated story for presentations and sharing with colleagues.

Working with IVE

Create, fine tune, and share IVE visualizations by following these steps:

  1. Create a new visual board based on a reporting area.
  2. Add data elements and select a visualization type.
  3. Adjust the canvas and visualization.
  4. Modify the visualization properties.
  5. Filter the content.
  6. Build and export a presentation.

IVE provides a wide selection of visualization styles you can use to interpret data. For examples of each, see IVE Visualization types.

Using Interactive Visual Explorer with special types of data

Access to protected health information used in Interactive Visual Explorer is not currently tracked by Advanced Audit Trail.

Interactive Visual Explorer operates outside of the purview of Advanced Audit Trail. Therefore, companies that require HIPAA compliance should not use PHI as data sources for Interactive Visual Explorer.
