Enhancements in Sage Field Operations

Sage Field Operations syncs seamlessly with Sage Intacct whether you're in the office or in the field. Office staff have to-the-minute information for scheduling. And the mobile app provides your team in the field with the critical information that they need, when they need it.

Sage Field Operations is available for Sage Intacct customers in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

We've recently made Sage Field Operations even better with enhancements to the web browser and mobile apps.

Enhancements for the web browser application

• Reverse an Order Entry invoice by converting it to an adjustment in Sage Intacct without worrying about manual adjustments. The following now occurs in Sage Field Operations:

  • The associated accounting entries are reversed.

  • The work order is reopened so that it can be invoiced again.

• Manage inventory more closely by specifying where parts added to a work order can be pulled from. The parts can be taken from the employees' default stock location only, or they can be selected from other stock locations.

• Streamline your workflows by automatically creating a new Sage Intacct project for every work order created in Sage Field Operations.

• Save time by processing multiple invoices in a batch.

• Link Sage Field Operations employee records to Sage Intacct employee records.

Enhancements for the mobile app

Mobile workers can now complete the following tasks in the mobile app:

• Create quotes and service reports.

• Enter a time punch for jobs and miscellaneous assignments.

• Enter a time punch for a work order while offline.
