Sage Intelligent Time enhancements

We added the ability to sync all draft timesheets to Sage Intacct at once, making it easy to include them in reports. We also added a setting so users can monitor when an Intacct sync is unsuccessful.

Sync all draft timesheets to Intacct

Users with access to the Advanced Preferences page now have the option to sync all draft timesheets to Intacct at once, since draft timesheets created in SIT do not appear in Intacct automatically. That way, you can include draft timesheets when you run reports.

How it works

For the embedded version of SIT:

  1. Go to either:

    • Time and Expenses > Setup > Time preferences > Advanced preferences
    • Projects > Setup > Time preferences > Advanced preferences

  2. In the Sync draft timesheets to the time repository section, select Start sync.

    A progress bar indicates when the sync is complete.

For the standalone version of SIT:

  1. Go to Profile > Time preferences > Advanced preferences.

  2. In the Sync draft timesheets to Intacct section, select Start sync

Receive email alerts about Intacct syncs

You can now turn on email alerts to stay informed when there is a problem with syncing data from Intacct. By default it is turned off.

Details

  • When an Intacct sync is unsuccessful, all users with access to Advanced Preferences receive an email.

  • The email contains an error message for you to review.

  • If the same error occurs multiple times in a day, you'll receive only one email for that error.

  2. In the Sync data from Intacct section, select Receive an email alert when a sync is unsuccessful.

For the standalone version of SIT:

  1. Go to Profile > Time preferences > Advanced preferences.

  2. In the Sync data from Intacct section, select Receive an email alert when a sync is unsuccessful.
