Manage charges and payments with a new Tenant Ledger report
The Tenant Ledger report helps you track and manage charges and payments by tenant and unit over time. It gives you a detailed, time-filtered view of tenant activity, making it easy to reconcile accounts and monitor cash flow.
- View each charge and payment at the item level.
- See transactions grouped by month, including monthly subtotals for easier reporting.
- Information is automatically sorted by unit, so you can quickly locate specific tenant activity.
- Export to PDF for sharing or record keeping.
Make rent adjustments automatically based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI)
A new CPI-based rent adjustment tool helps you make rent adjustments more accurately, consistently, and easily. It automates rent increases using official inflation data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), saving you hours of manual work.
Use a streamlined batch process in the Tasks section to select a CPI index type and apply rent increases in bulk.
- Rent adjustments are calculated based on the selected CPI index rate and applied to each lease automatically.
- In a new setup section in the Recurring Charges tab for a lease, you configure how CPI increases are applied.
- You can run the process at the property level to preview journals for each lease, unit, and tenant selected—before applying changes.
- Apply CPI-driven rent increases to multiple leases with a single task. No more updating leases one by one.
Associate a property with the project dimension
A new Project field on the Property Setup page lets you associate properties with projects, improving alignment between your property records and Sage Intacct. This gives you better financial tracking and reporting across systems, and supports accurate expense allocation and reporting.
- Enhances support for project-based accounting workflows.
- Increases data consistency between your properties and external systems.
- Gives you better visibility and control over how actual expenses are mapped and reported.
Control whether preview journals are attached to invoices
If preview journals are not needed, you can now create invoices without them, which can save space and simplify communication. To create invoices without attached journals, clear the new Attach the Journal to each Invoice option on the Generate Scheduled Charges page.
Generate reports faster and more reliably in the Report Center
We've improved the performance of the Report Center, resulting in faster report generation, especially for larger or previously slow-running reports.
- Significantly reduced load times for all reports.
- Smoother experience when running complex or high-volume reports.
- Eliminated delays that were affecting productivity.
Import recovery expenses in bulk
You can now import recovery expenses in bulk for existing leases directly from Sage Intacct Real Estate. This saves you time and reduces manual entry, especially for portfolios with high transaction volume.
- Streamline the workflow for recovery expenses. No more uploading expenses one by one.
- Simplify lease accounting.
- Enter data across multiple leases faster.
