Log out of Sage Intacct

You can log out of Sage Intacct manually or automatically, or both.

You can use both manual log-out and automatic log-out together. For example, you can always manually log out of Sage Intacct. However, if you set your user preferences to log out after a 15-minute period of inactivity, even if you forget to log out manually, you will automatically be logged out after 15 minutes.

Manual log-out

When you are ready to log out, you can do this manually from any page in Intacct.

1. Select your name in the upper right corner of the Intacct page.
   A menu opens.
2. Select Log out.
   You are logged out of Intacct.

Automatic log-out

In My preferences, you can set the amount of time Intacct can remain inactive before it logs you out. For example, if you prefer to be logged out after 15 minutes of inactivity, you can set that using the following steps.

1. Select your name in the upper right corner of the Intacct page.
   A menu opens.
2. Select My preferences.
   The Preferences page opens.
3. In the Security preferences section, set the Timeout options:
   
• Inactivity duration: Set the amount of time your company can remain inactive before it logs you out. There is a maximum amount of hours you can choose which has been set on the Company Information page.
• Session duration: Set the total amount of time you can work in your company, regardless of whether it's active or not, before it logs you out. There is a maximum amount of hours you can choose which has been set on the Company Information page.
4. Select Save.
