View Overview insights

Usage insights are tools designed to empower you with real-time data and actionable insights to optimize your company's operations.

For general users of Intacct companies, go to CompanyAdminUsage metricsUsage insights and select a tab to view more information.

For console users, go to My practiceAllUsage metricsUsage insights and select a tab to view more information.

By default, users with admin privileges can access Usage insights.

The following tables provide details about each component on the Overview tab.

The data on this page automatically refreshes daily at 6 PM PST.

Graphs

Component Description
Active customers

The number of active customers as of the calendar year end.

Hover over each column of information to view the date of the information and the number of customers.

For a customer to be included in this count, the Status of the customer must be set to Active on the Customer record.

Active Suppliers

The number of active suppliers as of the calendar year end.

Hover over each column of information to view the date of the information and the number of suppliers.

For a supplier to be included in this count, the Status of the supplier must be set to Active on the Supplier record.

Login volume and unique users

You see the number of successful and failed login attempts to your company by month.

The stacked bar chart depicts the total number of successful and failed login attempts.

The second X axis contains a count of the unique user logins.

Individual users could log in several times a day based on your time-out settings or other business needs.

Hover over the different parts of the graph to see the date of the information and the number of successes, failures, and unique user count.

Active locations

The number of active locations as of the calendar year end.

Hover over a column of information to view the date of the information and the number of active locations.

Location information

User count

The number of active users as of the calendar year end. Partial year information is as of the current date when you view the graph.

The count includes both internal and external user in Intacct.

Hover over a point on the graph to view the date of the information and the number of users.

Lists

Component Description
Subscriptions

View the core applications and add-ons for your company, and the date on which the application or subscription was enabled in your company.

Application descriptions

Current user count

View the current user count for your company, broken out by user type. Partial year information is as of the current date when you view the list.

Think about your data

The data presented on this tab is specific to your company. As such, the questions you ask yourself about this data are also specific to your business.

For example, if your company had 2000 active customers last year, but this year only 750 new customers were added, consider the following:

  • Is that in line with my expectations?

  • Does that make sense for the business?

  • Is there something that can be researched further based on this information?
