Reclassify a credit card transaction in Cash Management
To update a credit card transaction that's in a Paid or Partially paid state, you need to reclassify the transaction. Only authorized users can reclassify a transaction and the option to reclassify must be enabled for your company.
When your accounting method is configured as either Cash only or Accrual and cash, a credit card transaction can only be reclassified when Cash Management is configured to post credit card transactions to the General Ledger after creation.
Reclassify top-level transactions from the top level. Reclassify entity-level transactions from within the entity. You cannot reclassify transactions across entities by changing locations.
Currently you can reclassify the following fields:
- GL account
- Reference number, Description, Attachment, and line item Memo fields
