Remove or delete an attachment
If you accidentally add the wrong attachment to a record, or find an old attachment with incorrect information, you can delete the attachment.
To delete an attachment, you'll first remove it from any records or transactions. Then, delete the attachment from the attachments list.

Go to the list page of a record or transaction you want to edit

Select Edit at the end of the row.

In the Attachment field, clear the selected attachment name.

Select Save.

Go to the edit page of a record or transaction with the attachment.

In the Attachment field, clear the selected attachment.

Save the change.
Delete an attachment from the Attachments list

| Restrictions | Business users with no admin privileges can only delete attachments that they create. |
- Go to Company > Setup > Storage > Attachments.
- Find the attachment that you want to delete.

Select More actions > Delete at the end of the row.
- Select Delete
- Go to Company > Setup > Storage > Attachments.
- Find the attachment and select the Delete checkbox.
- Select Delete.
- Select OK.
