Sync renewal or evergreen templates to contracts
When you edit the following fields in a renewal or evergreen template, you can sync your changes to associated contracts:

Renewal action (only applicable to Intacct Advanced CRM Integration and renewal templates)
-
Days
-
Contract end date (only applicable to renewal templates)
-
Recurring billing period end date (only applicable to evergreen templates)
Syncing updates the trigger date on in-progress contracts that use the template. The trigger date is when Intacct creates a child renewal contract. Syncs act one-way, from template to contract. During a sync, the template and associated contracts are locked to prevent concurrent changes. When a sync is complete, you'll receive an email notification.
You can sync updates immediately after saving changes to a template, at a later time, or on an individual contract basis.
Sync to all contracts immediately
If you want your updates to take effect right away, you can sync changes to all contracts immediately after saving the template.

Update a template.
Steps-
Go to Contracts > Setup > Templates > Renewal or Evergreen.
- Find the template that you want to update, which is in use by one or more in-progress contracts.

Select More actions > Edit at the end of the row.

Change one of the following fields (only these fields initiate a sync):

Renewal action—only applicable to Intacct Advanced CRM Integration and renewal templates

Days
-
Contract end date—only applicable to renewal templates
-
Recurring billing period end date—only applicable to evergreen templates
-

Select Save.

Go to Contracts > Setup > Templates > Renewal or Evergreen.

Select Edit next to a template that's in use by one or more in-progress contracts.

Modify one of the following fields (only these fields initiate a sync):

Select Save.

In the popup that appears after you select Save, select Sync.
Syncing updates the trigger date for in-progress contracts associated with this template. During the sync, the template and associated contracts are locked to prevent concurrent changes. When the sync is complete, you'll receive an email notification.
Sync to all contracts later
If you prefer to hold off on syncing after updating a template, you can initiate a sync for all contracts at a later time.

Select the template's ID.

Select More actions > Sync to contracts.
This option does not appear if there are no changes to sync.

Select Sync to confirm and start the sync.
